One of the lost greats, maybe THE lost great. He's probably in the top 5 of all time but without the name recognition of a James Brown, Marvin Gaye or Otis Redding. In 1975 he had a heart attack while performing on stage in Cherry Hill New Jersey and ended up in a coma for the next eight years until he died in January of 1984. An amazing talent who didn't always get the material he deserved, maybe if he had been on Motown he would have had more songs on the charts. You did more than good enough though Jackie, you had six top ten hits and this whole world's a naked city.
