10 Greatest Albums Ever (Part 2)

Continued from the last post

5) Born to Run- Bruce Springsteen (1975) No one has ever written a better song then "Thunder Road", including Bruce. Partly a love song, partly a profession of faith, and partly a fuck you to anyone in New Jersey who hasn't dreamed big.

6) Blonde on Blonde - Bob Dylan (1966) I wrote a post the other day attacking him, but I'm still man enough to say this is a great fucking album. When Dylan wanted to fuck a girl he could rise to the occasion, and that's what almost all of Blonde on Blonde is. This is the best album he ever made, the best music he ever wrote, and "Visions of Johanna" is the closest he ever got to becoming a real poet. There's still rambling garbage like "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands", and at least a couple shitty lines in each song, but the good far outweighs the bad here. (Skip the first song though, "Rainy Day Women #12 and 35". Also don't bother thinking about why he called it that when the chorus is "Everybody must get stoned". Who gives a shit.)
